Friends - Ducka's - Nakee!!

Kathy and Heather threw me a wonderful baby shower today! It was so much fun to get together and celebrate with friends! Unfortunately, I failed to put my memory card back in my camera so I'll have to get some pics from someone smarter than I!!

Yesterday, Nicholas and I went to the park and the beach. We had been working around the house doing, you guessed it, baby stuff and we needed a break. Here is my happy guy! He LOVES the beach; all of the "ducka's" (birds), "wa" (water), and boats are fascinating! It's funny, everytime we go to the beach, or even drive by it Nicholas says "dayyie, dayyie...". Usually when we go to the beach dad meets us there so he is constantly looking for him. Anyway, here he is happy as can be!

"Wing, wing, wing". Nicholas loves to swing! I don't know if he likes it better than the swirly slide, but he could go from one swing to another all day long. I love that the littlest things bring him so much joy. The simplest activities can be so thrilling. Oh, to be his age....!!

Okay...I hope you all don't start to think that we spend a ton of time in the bathroom! There have been a few posts that have resulted from our time there, but I promise we don't hang out in there that much! The other day I asked Nicholas to put away the toilet paper. He worked diligently for about 5 minutes and gave me a nice smile when he was done! I just really liked the pic and thought I should explain why there are 50 roles of TP in the background!

Nicholas has been getting more and more and more and more (you get the picture!) difficult to get dressed. He just hates the process of putting clothes on. Usually he's ok once we get past that process, but there are times when he just wants to be "nakee"! Anyway, here are a couple pics of him attempting to dress himself...this really doesn't happen very often due to his hatred of clothing. When he does want to attempt to put his clothes on he can try for as long as he wants and put whatever he wants on. He does, however, without fail, always put both legs in one whole.
