Today we took a much needed trip to Babies R Us...just to finish shopping for the endless baby paraphernalia we'll be needing soon. Since Nicholas has grown so fond of his jams I let him pick out a pair (they were seriously marked down too!!). He chose the doggie jams seen below. As soon as we got home he said "doggie, on, doggie, on, on....". He kept them on all day and put them back on after his bath--we didn't get too dirty today!
Whenever I ask Nicholas to smile for a picture he gives me a BIG grin and squints his eyes so tight. I think I may have gotten too close with the flash in the past...oops. Plus, I always tell him he looks so cute, so that may have had an impact as well! Nice jams though, huh?!
When Rob got home tonight Nicholas wanted to play outside (as he does every night). As soon as Dad walks in the door Nicholas is ready to go. Today they ended up walking up to the candy store where Dad let him pick out some special treats. In this picture he's sucking on one lollipop and he's got a death grip on another. He did think it was funny to bang the sucker on the table...when we took the wrapper off there wasn't much left on the stick. With a two year old...less is more (for mom)!
Here, we have Nicholas taunting Beagues with his lollipop. Lately, he thinks it is really funny to offer his food to others, quickly retract, and eat it himself. I always get a kick out of it when he plays this game with me, but Beagues isn't as understanding. In this picture our very under-trained dog is actually holding back....

Such cute jammies. I know what you mean " less is more" when it comes to treats...Evan goes bonkers when I give him any kind of sugar.
I love reading your blog, you are a great writer!
Love the new Pj's.
